What if my company already possesses Am-241 Be assets that are no longer utilized in the field?

Answer: Gammatron, Inc. can help. We maintain the capability to recycle such sources into new and viable assets, complete with new serial numbers, leak-tests, and shields for nearly 1/3 the price of a newly fabricated source.

Why dispose of Neutron sources that retain equity only to turn around and purchase another, when you can recycle that equity into a new asset?

Sealed Sources

Radioactive measurement systems require a radioactive source which effuses gamma radiation. We ensure that radioactive material is safely held in a sealed and durable capsule, which guarantees safe handling even under extreme measurement conditions. Each shield is closeable, and is shipped locked shut until the device/source is utilized.

Disposal

We safely manage hazardous waste by disposing of hazardous and radioactive material. We incorporate unmatched experience and technology in order to provide value-added services that protect people and the environment. Gammatron has extensive experience with the application of environmental and human risk assessment methodologies.

Storage

We efficiently and comprehensively manufacture and store radioactive elements and materials. Our waste storage systems are efficient for onsite and offsite storage utilization and meet required EPA regulations.
